What inspired me to do photography?
While I was building this photography website, and looking through 8 years worth of photos memories, I was struggling to put into words of why is that I’m super passionate at photography, telling stories!
Why am I so committed to authenticity?
So my friend Ana Norambuena spontaneously started to record me, and ask ‘Why is that I do photography?’
And it was so Raw and imperfect, I decide to share it here with you, I hope you can feel the heart and soul of why I love photography and capturing real authentic moments.

Would you believe me that I've never had a couple who HASN'T said this to me!?! Trust me, you are not alone!
Hopefully this makes you feel better, but none of the couples I've ever photographed were models, nor have had any modelling experience.
It’s Perfect that you're not used to being in front of the camera!
That way, what we produce together won’t be posing, it will be REAL and AUTHENTIC.
Which is what I’m all about. The photography style that I have formed is about documenting the moment, the realness, the rawness.
It’s the energy of the moment we are in that shines through you.
Whether that be your soul purpose and the impact you create, or the beautiful and challenging moments that brought you here today.

You don’t need to pose, we just flow with the feeling and document it.
I don't want you to have to worry about standing perfectly, tilting your head just right, getting the hand placement in the right spot, or anything else silly like that.
I'm here to capture your connection with one another. It's not something all photographers can do, but it's something I strive to achieve at every session and wedding.

It depends! Some starter packages only include me as the photographer.
I never hire out associate shooters, so you can be certain that when you book with me, I will actually be there on your wedding day!
I have other packages that include an amazing second shooter. I have a beautiful heart-driven team that are committed to authenticity.
They have been shooting with me as my right hand and assistant for a while now!
They go high, I go low, they go far, I come in close. I work better as a team than we do alone, so I love having the opportunity to book a second shooter.

My wedding collections start at $4000 which covers 8 hours of your wedding day.

The number of photos delivered is based heavily on the timeline and activities.
I don't have a specific minimum or maximum number of images I deliver, but it is usually somewhere between 80-200 photos per hour booked, around 800-1400 images for an 8-10 hour wedding.

Unlike most other photographers, I do genuinely love editing much, therefore I have a much faster turnaround time than most!
Typically, small photo sessions take 7-10 days and weddings take about 4-5 weeks.
I try to get them back to you as soon as possible while making sure I give time to each and every image needs.

FUCK YES!!! Of course, you will have unlimited downloads and lifetime access to the gallery, so dress your walls!
Each image / memory will be in the highest quality ready to download and print.
I also offer super, super affordable big prints in (A1 / A2) with beautiful wooden frames starting that range between $150 - $300.

I require a $1,000 non-refundable booking fee and a signed contract to secure your spot on my calendar, and the remaining cost is due 1 month before the wedding.

In the unlikely event that an emergency came up (act of God, illness, death, etc), and this has never happened in my career in the last 7 years.
But worst case scenario, I have a team of talented and heart-driven photographers ready to take my place that I trust with a similar style and passion for what they do.
The details of this are outlined in my contract. But in short, if I cannot make it to your wedding or find you a quick replacement, your money will be refunded, no questions asked.

Hahah what a great question, I don’t really live anywhere!
I spend around 60% of my time travelling New Zealand, and 20-30% around Australia, creating legacy for The Soul Purpose Project capturing special intimate memories for couples.
I do have a base/office in Auckland at the present moment.
My bags are always packed and I am always already to travel all over New Zealand, even international!
I love filling up my schedule with new locations, inspiring projects and events! So no matter how far away or how crazy of a location, I'll fucking be there!

This is where I record hidden artists from around Aotearoa, New Zealand.

If you're on the hunt for a photographer who just captures the basic posed, "perfect" shots, I may not be the best option for you.
Similarly, if you're shopping around looking for the cheapest photography deal, you likely won't find value in what I can offer to you. And that's okay!
I'm not going to be the best fit for everyone, nor are certain clients going to be a good for for me. That's why I've included all the questions in the contact form, so I can get a good feel for who you are, what's most important to you on your wedding day, what your vision is, and how I play into that.
You don’t realize it now while you’re focused on centerpieces and bridesmaids dresses and what colors to include in your florals, but photography is one of the only things that lasts past your wedding day (besides your own memories!).
Your photos are something that will only increase in value over time, because it will be all you have left to remember the most important day of your life together.
Of course, you’ll get all the family shots, every possible detail and whatever other photographs are most important to you! But I want to give you something MORE. Something that you’ll be able to look back on again and again, that will always take you back to these precious moments.
I want to document the moments you’ll show your children and your grandchildren. And every time you look back on them, you'll remember exactly how it felt. They’ll see the depth in those pictures, not some awkward staged photos, but photographs that truly show the love you have for each other and the way your story unfolded.
